The quad pipes are to vent excess electrons. This baby is souped up so much that the car has to get rid of them to be street legal.

I trust that you know that the stock Prius has an ICE with an exhaust. Not that it could possibly have been modified such that it needs quad tips . . . that would bear mentioning in the ad, I would think. But clearly, it WANTS quad tips.
